Welcome to our collection of the most fascinating scrap vehicles! They once were the kings of the road, driving for miles on the streets and trails of this world. Cars, mopeds, trucks, carts and all sorts of vehicles that got us from A to B or carrying heavy loads.

As we cycled more than 50,000 km around the world, we saw many incredible vehicles that were built by humans to be used for transportation. In this collection we have selected the most outstanding means of transport. Most of them already passed their best days. They either crashed completely but keep existing to donate parts to other vehicles or more or less serve their purpose and are still in use on the streets of this world.

Vector graphic style is used to underline the different degrees of destruction while softening its raw look of the vehicle. So, the focus is on scrap, which still seems to fulfill its purpose. It is amazing how much effort people put into trying to make these skeletons roadworthy and still usable.

We are creating real digital Art that is backed by a real value, filled with emotions! Art used to express feelings and the Artist usually puts a lot of effort into it. Just like Art used to be for hundreds of years. We don´t want to change the way Art is created just because it´s digital now!

We don´t do automatically generated bulk images just to sell them to greedy people.

We know our way is more difficult and needs a lot more effort to do so, but we want to keep it real just as Art was before the outbreak of NFT. Our art is handmade, every single piece is unique and real, it´s different from most things you find out there.

Melanie & Daniel also known as VAEGABOND started the adventure of a lifetime in 2019 - a trip around the world only equipped with a simple bicycle. Inspired by nature and the different cultures they immerse themselves in, they create unique pieces of art. True to the motto, back to basics and keep it simple, these masterpieces make you think and smile. This is the stuff dreams are made of.

VEHICLES Humans were always looking for a way carrying their goods. First with the power of animals such as horses, donkeys or oxen. Later with engines. This machines are not just important for transport goods also for bringing persons to their destination. Vehicles include wagons, bicycles, motor vehicles, railed vehicles, watercraft, amphibious vehicles, aircraft & spacecraft.

Type

The VECTOR GRAPHIC COMIC STYLE is a perfect combination of drawing with vectors and a small touch of clipart comic. Vector graphic itself uses points, lines, curves and shapes that are based on mathematical formulas. The comic style with dark storylines, bright neon strips & destinct use of dimensionality and shadows sets highlights on the scrap parts of the vehicles.
